The event is organized by Ayahuasca Medicina founded and directed by Rigzin Ro, a group with over 14 years of experience conducting Ayahuasca ceremonies, Master Plant diets, and retreats in the U.S., Mexico, and Costa Rica; and over 17 years on the Vegetalist Path.

Rigzin Ro

For more than 17 years, he has been training in the Vegetalista Healing Tradition.

He has carried out diverse and rigorous diets of Master Plants for more than 3 continuous months with the guidance of several herbalists, learning directly from the jungle and Master Healers. Among the plants that he has been dieting are: Chiric Sanango, Ajo Sacha, Renaco, Ayahuma, Lupuna, Mapacho, Chuchuwasa, Malva, etc. as well as long fasts -without eating- of up to 14 consecutive days.

He was in formation to become a Jesuit priest (2005-2008) where he lived in the Sierra Tarahumara in an experience of total isolation (2005-2008).Read Stories from Sierra Tarahumara). There he had direct contact with Rarámuris (Owirúames) medicine men of a practically intact tradition, from whom he received his first instructions on the way of nature.

He studied law and has a degree in psychology. In addition to some postgraduate studies in legal matters, has three master's degrees in psychotherapy (Gestalt Psychotherapy [INTEGRO 2013], Transgenerational Systemic and Transpersonal Philosophy [IET 2015 and 2017]); as well as a specialty in Family Constellations [IET 2014] and updates in Transpersonal matters: The Way of the Psyconauth [TSN 2020]. He is currently finishing her Music degree (2018) at the Escuela Libre de Música [CDMX].

He has training in Conscious Breathing (Rebirthing), Transpersonal Psychology; as well as in Embryonic Breathing, QiGong (NeiGong and WaiGong) and QiGong Energy Massage where he learned from Master Yang Ying Ming.

For 10 years he has been a constant practitioner of the Tibetan Vajrayana Tradition, and through various retreats and meetings in Mexico and the USA he has received direct instructions and teachings through Lineage and Knowledge Holding Masters.

Among the most important teachings that he has received are the teachings of Khorde Rushen, the guidelines for the realization of the Nature of the Mind (Kagyu & Nygma lineage) as well as the instructions of the Mahamudra Lamp of the Gelugpa lineage, and the Highest and Secret Tantric teachings of the Vajrayana practices of the Six Yogas of Naropa, and the Chöd practices of the Dudjom Lingpa and Ningma lineage. Also the esoteric Ngakpas practices and the Collection of Healing Methods to Increase the Four Forces for the benefit of beings.

Recently in the year 2022, as a result of his commitment, perseverance and knowledge, he has received the ordination of Ngakpa or committed Vajrayana Practitioner.

Since 2012, he has held and has evidence of more than 470 group ceremonies (not counting personal and training ceremonies, which would total more than 670) and Master Plant Diet Retreats, in combination with other psychotherapeutic approaches and Medicinal Plant Diet Retreats, in various Medicine Circles in Mexico, the USA, and Costa Rica.
