What is an Ayahuasca Ceremony at Círculo Medicina?
It is a ritual space where through the strength and power of Mother Ayahuasca a deep transit is made for the healing of internal issues and some psychic illnesses and ultimately contact in the innermost depths of the person's true self.
The ceremony takes place in a context of ritual and containment, in which although it is performed in a group, the experience is totally personal and individual.
In the 14 years that I have been conducting ceremonies, the priority has been and continues to be the individual. We respect physical and emotional integrity, and we encourage and request this respect at all times in the framework and support of the group.

Details of the Activities
We will hold three Ayahuasca Ceremonies with 100% Peruvian Amazonian medicine
The medicine we share is the product of the union of traditional knowledge from three lineages. Carefully cooked, it contains master medicinal plants in a masterful blend.
The medicine has different levels of depth, and no matter how strong the ayahuasca is, it is completely safe.
Kambo, or the "Jungle Vaccine," is a traditional medicine from Amazonian tribes that works on both physical and energetic levels. It strengthens the immune system, combats fatigue, and improves overall health.
It is extracted from the Phyllomedusa bicolor toad and applied to the skin through specific points.
Sessions last one hour and do not produce hallucinogenic effects.
Its benefits are significant and last for months. It boosts the immune system and deeply cleanses the internal organs through a gentle purge, leaving a feeling of calm and purity. It is also said to help ward off bad luck.
The ceremonies and activities are carried out in a ritual-community context of safe containment.
The medicine is carefully cooked, in a unique and special mixture that fuses the preparation techniques of three vegetal lineages. This cooking contains several master and healing plants, among which Yagé and Huambisa stand out.
After several days a masterful compound known as Ayahuasca-Honey is obtained. It has a high degree of purity and concentration that offers a numinous, loving and gentle communion with the spirit of the plant.

Preparatory Instructions for the Ayahuasca Ceremony
Staying healthy depends, to a large extent, on preparing the body through a responsible and mindful diet.

The contact with the Medicine depends, to a great extent, on preparing the body with a responsible and conscious diet.
The ritual framework of the ceremony begins in the days prior to the intake, where the body, mind and heart are prepared, adjusting to a light or preferably vegetarian diet.
It is advisable to work with the humble intention of learning without having high expectations and with great respect for the sacred space to which you will have access.
It is necessary to observe a light diet or, if you prefer, a vegetarian diet 3 days prior to the ceremony.
In any case should abstain from pork, alcohol and psychotropic substances including cannabis. Marijuana removes visions in ayahuasca.
The masters of the jungle recommend fasting from sexual relations.
It is possible to eat fish and chicken.
If the person is on medication, he/she should consult with the organizer to verify compatibility.

Ayahuasca is a medicine, and like every element in nature it has its laws and its way of proceeding.
The participation for the intake of Ayahuasca is restricted to pregnant women, people with cardiovascular, cardiac problems, severe hypertension, psychopathologies, certain psychiatric diagnoses, fractures or recent surgeries, acute infectious diseases, epilepsy and/or the combination with any type of drug (natural or synthetic).
Those who are undergoing treatment with:
Antidepressants: SSRIS, MAOS; weight loss pills, antihypertensives, asthma and flu medications, antifungal drugs, nervous system depressants. These medications should be suspended at least 15 days prior to ingestion.
In case of psychiatric medication or medication acting on the central nervous system it is absolutely necessary to consult.

If you consume THC, we recommend discontinuing at least 10 days before:
The THC in Cannabis makes the Ayahuasca experience visionless and drowsy. This does not happen with CBD.
This is so that when they go to a ceremony, they can live a complete and total experience.
Suspend at least 3 days prior to the event:
Alcohol in excess (Do not get drunk).
If you are used to drinking more than 3 times a week, you should stop drinking at least 15 days beforehand.

If you get the flu or a cold, DO NOT take any flu medicine.
Foods to avoid (moderate your intake):
Soft drinks or sodas.
It is advisable to suspend the intake of beef. If this is not possible, you can eat beef in moderation or white fish or chicken.
Strong and aged cheeses: Gruyer, Goat, Green, Roquefort, etc.
Fried foods.
Sugars in excess.
Recommended Foods.
Cereals.
Fruits.
Legumes.
Rice.
Paste.
Mushrooms.
Juices, preferably natural.
Vegetarian Indian food, hare krishna, etc.
Cheese, soft and fresh.
Any of those not prohibited.
Vitamins that do NOT contain Gingko Biloba, Gingsen or any dopamine precursor.
Sea or mountain salt.
Permitted Foods:
Salad dressing, preferably natural.
Yogurt and lactose products for intestinal flora restoration.
Permitted Medication:
For diabetes.
Arterial hypertension (which does not act directly on the central nervous system).
For thyroid.
The ritual framework of the ceremony begins in the days leading up to the ritual, during which the body, mind, and heart are prepared by following a vegetarian diet.
